I have to SHOUT ABOUT THIS ONE ! ! ! A proposed fine of over $3,000 for those who don't have insurance ?

WHAT IN HEAVENS NAME ARE THEY THINKING ?

I am dumbstruck by the state of the government in the US and what they come up with. How much more idiocracy can we stand ? How can a person pay a fine that large if they can't pay for their medical care ????

Does anyone have any comments about this mess? I would love to hear from you . Both sides of course . No judgements , I just want to try and make some kind of sense from this confusion. Maybe there is no sense to be found. -sl.

Hello, how are you, my only respond is, take a look at our N.Y state goverment, I think our N.Y State goverment is  totally out  of control, i don't even know how these politician ever get elected, sadly , i think it's going on all over the country,  i feel very bad for all the people all over the country, God help us .

Even with so many things being proposed and retracted, I believe these kinds of things are warnings for what they have in store for any and ll ov us. They say yes, and then they say no, when all the while the answer is yes. If you noticed the president's speach was that no matter what we say, no matter what anyone says he "will sign" this legislation into law no matter who apposes it, or supports it. He does not care at all about what people think, or what actually works, it must be his way. This is what they think about what we say. It is all about controll of our lives and our deaths. You no longer have the right to live if the government says you can't!

I think that is the most riduculous thing that I have ever heard of. I am sure nobody has no insurance becase they prefer it that way. People go without insurance because they can not afford it, they need basic things like food and water and clothing first. If people were able to worry less about things like basic needs and insurance we they might be more productive members of society. Its hard to excel when all your circumstances are against you.

That certainly shows just how unbelievably nutz our elected officials are living in a sureal world of wealth payoffs and inexperience . It surely is a shake my head in disbelief to the what the F were they thinking reality ...

I am sure what ever they actually do come up with will be filled with more loophopes than ever just as the loopholes the restaurant owners take full advantage of FOR THE PAST TWENTY YEARS in being allowed to NOT HAVE TO PAY MINIMUM WAGE and not have to have health insurance or any type of coverage what so ever ... geeez poor waitresses earn 2.25 to 4.05 an hour due to such loopholes .... Unbelievable really .

As to the fine it did say O'Bama thon rejected it and after the flack while being on vacation he removed the proposition of such fines .
